Business & Industry Council Partner Profiles
The following government and non-profit organizations have partnered with the Economic Development Council of the Greater Lafayette Commerce to promote economic development in the Greater Lafayette area:
State of Indiana Visit the award winning “Access Indiana” site here for over 200,00 pages of information about Indiana, with 175 interactive service. 99% of all services on the site are provided free to the public.
Indiana Economic Development Corporation Indiana’s lead economic development agency. Visit this site for more information about state taxes and tax incentives, regional industry clusters and statistical information about the state.
Purdue University Purdue University is a powerful resource for advancing Indiana’s economic development and enhancing Hoosiers’ quality of life. Under the leadership of Vice Provost for Engagement Don K. Gentry, Purdue’s Office of Engagement is working to create mutually beneficial partnerships between the University and Indiana’s businesses, industry, agriculture, K-12 education, and government. The goal is to ensure that the state realizes the maximum possible advantages from Purdue’s many resources.
Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association The Lafayette Urban Enterprise Association (LUEA) is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with 501 c 3 status, established to direct enterprise zone activities and reinvestment. The LUEA is managed by a 12-member board appointed to a four-year term by the Lafayette City Council and the Mayor.
Chamber of Commerce Council The mission of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Council of Greater Lafayette Commerce is to represent and assist its membership throughout the business community by providing volunteer leadership that promotes favorable economic, governmental, and community development for the growth and prosperity of our diverse business community. To undertake, monitor, and facilitate special community-wide projects.
Purdue University Airport  Air travelers who use the Purdue University Airport enjoy many conveniences that make using the regional airport a smarter choice for them than distant, more congested airports.
